Returns

General Return Policy

Returned items should be in the condition in which they were received and show no signs of wear, with original packaging and garment tags attached. When trying on, please ensure items do not come in contact with perfumes, sprays, creams or other chemicals. We do not accept items that have been worn, altered, washed or dry-cleaned. Footwear must be accompanied by the original box, in its original condition.

Due to health regulations, the sale of undergarments, bathing suits, earrings, pacifiers or baby bottles are Final. Formal wear, ceremonial outfits, accessories (bibs, ties, head accessories) and all purchases on "Sale" are Final.

*Please Note: When shopping in-store Designer Kids Wear cannot hold items for exchange. When shopping online, please place a new order for any items you wish to exchange, to ensure product availability.


In-Store Return Policy

If you wish to return your purchase, return it in its original condition (as stated above), within 21 days of purchase for an exchange or store credit, no refunds. Items on "Sale" are considered Final and can not be returned or exchanged. Store credit will be issued on a Designer Kids Wear Gift Card and does not expire. Gift Cards can only be redeemed in-store.


Online Return Policy

For a full refund a Return Authorization number must be requested within 5 days of receiving your order. Shipping fees are not refundable. Your parcel must be shipped back within 5 days of receiving the RA. The balance of your return(s) will be refunded to your credit card within 7 business days upon receiving the goods. All returns must be authorized by Designer Kids Wear prior to the return. Please contact us by email (customerservice@designerkidswear.ca) to make a Return Authorization Request. The Return Authorization number must be clearly written on the outside of the package. We are not responsible for the loss or delay of packages being returned and recommend using a courier that provides a tracking number and insurance.

If a situation arises whereby non-qualifying items are returned to us, the items will be held by us until payment has been made to have them returned to you.


Your online purchase can be returned in-store. However, our in-store return policy will apply (*No in-store refund, store credit will apply).

U.S. & International Return Policy
Please ensure that returns from the United States are shipped via the United States Postal Service (USPS). For all International returns, to avoid incorrect customs and duty charges, when your return arrives in Canada, you must mark your parcel as "RETURNED UNWANTED CANADIAN MERCHANDISE" on the custom declaration form. Please ensure that packages are returned using a reliable postal service. Packages that do not have this designation, may be subject to additional fees, such as: duties and taxes. As a result, these fees will be deducted from your return/refund.

Steps On Returning Your Item(s):

  • Contact us via e-mail or phone to make a Return Authorization request within 5 days of receiving your order.
  • Include a copy of your receipt (original will do).
  • Identify (circle) items you are returning or mark any exchanges next to each item.
  • Securely pack item(s)
  • Clearly mark your Return Authorization number on the outside of the package.
  • Forward your package to the address listed below, within 5 days of receiving the RA number.
